Hey Bous! If you followed my Insta last week you saw that I was definitely #BougieintheCity! Here’s a recap!

My Fall Fitness Tour was so motivating that I decided to partner with Chandler Davis of Lagniappe Fitness to crush some of my fitness goals! I’ll have to admit that the “Crossfit” gym was intimidating but after about 5 minutes into my session I was at ease. We discussed my goals along with my current fitness level and Chandler will customize a plan that I can do at the gym as well as at home since I rarely have time to go to the gym! I’ll be sharing my at home workouts with you!

That afternoon, I stopped by Zara in Lakeside mall to check out their Holiday Collection since we all know that Holiday Party season is upon us. I’m attending my first party on Dec 2nd! Of course my fave, sequins are everywhere throughout this collection! Let me know if you need me to go shopping with you!

Did you know that I won the giveaway from Auction House Market and Luna Botanicals? Of course I would win a Bougie giveaway! I better hang it up soon because my son thinks that this is grass for his trucks! Have you been to Auction Market yet? If not, you should! Lots of great food, drinks and not to mention a Bougie Bathroom! It’s the one with the lips on the wall! I snapped a pic!

Later that evening, I was able to preview the Tory Burch Holiday Collection with The Junior League of New Orleans. Champagne, Caviar and Fashion are always Bougie! The inspiration for this holiday collection was love, optimism and intangible gifts. I had to snag the pink shoes!

Whew! Are you tired yet?

On Wednesday night I attended the release party for VOLUME 7 of The Scout Guide New Orleans at Friend and Company. We sipped on champagne provided by Brennan’s and enjoyed caviar from Cajun Caviar. The Scout Guide is a great resource which highlights local businesses and this year a few of my faves are featured: Arnaud’s, West London Boutique and Belladonna Day Spa. You can pick up your complimentary Guide at any of the featured businesses!

On Thursday evening I attended the inaugural “Shuck Cancer” block party benefiting the American Cancer Society. This Oyster and Wine Experience featured more than 35 wine offerings paired with 20 types of oysters. The event also featured 20 honorary “shuckers” who committed to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

I started my Saturday morning off with a private tour of the New Orleans Jazz Museum. This hidden gem is tucked away inside of the Old Mint. I was able to see Louis Armstrong’s trumpet, Fats Domino’s piano as well as view 3 exhibits which are currently on display: Professor Longhair, Drumsville and Women of Note. Please add this to your list of places to visit. It’s full of history! I’ll be sharing upcoming events!

Xavier Homecoming

How could I not stop by Xavier University’s homecoming tailgate?!!! It’s my 15 year college reunion and my 20th year AKAversary!

Later that evening I attended the Zoo Lights Preview Party at the Aububon Zoo! The lights display officially opens on November 23rd and runs through December 30th. Head over to my IG and enter to win 2 free tickets!

What a great week! Now I have to rest up for Black Friday!

Have an event that’s #BougieInTheCity? Let me know!

Have a great week!

Bougiefully Yours,
